Do I need to make reservation?

Yes, prior reservation is required. We encourage you to book with us as soon as you have fixed your holiday plans. Our website's online booking system will make it easier for you to make a reservation. You can check for availability and price calculation right from the page which will reduce the needs of constant emailings and in turn reduce the usage of your precious time. You will have more time available for another purpose like booking a hotel or planning another activities for your holiday.

Please book at the latest 24 hours before the planned date as we need time to confirm and arrange your trip. In case you want to try a last minute booking, you can contact us via WhatsApp (+6287761125202) for faster response regarding the availability.

As internet connections in Bali are generally not so good and not all accommodations provide wifi access to their customers, we recommend you to make reservation while you are in your country. If you need to reschedule your tour once you get to Bali, you can simply call or text us in case internet connection is unavailable.

Attention !!!

If you book through hotel's tour desks or agents, make sure they book you with us (Bali Hai Tour) as there are many other companies with slightly similar name (e.g. Hai B**i Cycling Tour etc.) which has nothing to do with us because we are completely different company.

How to book your tour online?

Booking our tour is very easy, fast and secure. Just follow the following steps:

How long does it takes for my booking to be confirmed?

We usually need less than 6 hours to confirm your booking. If you have not received our email confirmation, be sure to check your spam or junk folder (there could be a probability that our confirmation email was landed there). If still you cannot find it, please email us as soon as possible.

What are the differences between bike tour packages?

There are some packages of cycling tour that you can choose. For more details, have a look at the package comparison page.

Can I change the tour’s date after booking?

We understand that plans can change and that you may need to reschedule your tour. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with your reservation details, including the local operator's telephone number. You can call them directly with any last-minute questions or date-change requests. Please don't forget to mention that you have made your booking with us via our online website booking system. All changes subject to availability.

Do I have to book my hotel first?

No, you don't. You do not have to book any hotel first in order to book our tour. You can inform us about your hotel details later. You can also change your hotel information, just be sure to inform us about it.

Is your cycling tour safe?

Yes, our cycling tour is PERFECTLY safe. SAFETY is of paramount importance to us. All our mountain bikes are new and well maintained and come with full suspension as well as front and rear disc brakes.

Our guides have unmatched knowledge of all the roads and trails in Bali and will take you on some of the best downhill routes that Bali has to offer. You will be accompanied by at least two guides. You will also be followed by a supporting A/C van along the journey. In case you get tired or can't continue the ride, you can safely get back into the car. In addition there are extra men who standby at any major cross roads holding the traffic so it is safe for you when crossing the road.

We provide many alternative cycling routes, whether you want the easy track or the hard one, it's all up to you. Just follow your guide instructions then everything will just fine.

What happen when it rains?

Because Bali is an amazing island to experience no matter what the weather conditions are like, we offer our tours rain and shine. Raincoat is included without any extra charges.

One of us doesn't know how to ride, can she/he join us on your bike tour?

Our cycling routes are mainly on small village's roads, back-roads and some off-road paths so we do NOT provide tandem bike as this kind of bike would only suitable for on-road & wider tracks. However we provide scooter option either for kid or adult. With this option he/she can still join the ride and get the best experience possible just like the other participants. See sample picture of scooter options for kid and also for adult. But if you are not too keen on this option, you can join us from within the support car which will follow us during the ride. Because the car can only follow us from wider/main roads, the experience will not be as great as taking the scooter options.

I am travelling alone, can I join your bike tour?

We run our bike tour with a minimum of 2 participants. If you are a solo traveller you can still send a request for bike tour with an exception that we cannot confirm your request right away unless we have already had other parties doing the tour on your requested date. In case we cannot find other parties for you, we will suggest you with another date available for you to join in.

I have a large group of more than 15 people, can you accommodate this group?

Though we limit the number of participants to maximum of 10 or 12 people, we can still accommodate larger group by providing more guides to the group. We highly recommend you to make reservation at least 2 days in advance for this type of group tour. Special price is also available for group booking.

I prefer a private tour, could you arrange for this?

Yes, private tour is available if you prefer to do the tour privately. You will get a private car, driver and cycling guide(s) and can go at your own pace. You can also modify the pick-up time & itinerary (add/remove sites to visit) to suit your needs. There will be an extra charge for this type of tour, around $15 or $25, depending on the pick up location and modification made to the default itinerary.

How can I check for your availability?

You can check for our availability directly from the online reservation form. After choosing the tour date, our guide availability status will be automatically updated. You can also contact us for a more detailed information.

Do you also accept credit cards payment? 

We are a small family business company. For all our tours paid in Bali we accept cash in IDR (Rupiah), USD (American Dollar), AUD (Australian Dollar) and Euro. Payment can be made directly to your guide at the end of your trip.

We also accept major credit cards (Master Cards, Visa, American Express) via PayPal internet payment gateway through our website payment portal. After completing the reservation form, you have an option to complete your payment online via paypal. If you use this option you will then be redirected to PayPal check out page where you can type your credit card/paypal account information and proceed with the payment.

Is deposit needed? 

For a group of more than 6 participants, a small amount of deposit will be highly appreciated to secure your booking though we will not insist on it as you can simply complete the payment in cash after the trip. You can directly send us deposit and set the amount to be sent when you are filling the online reservation form and choose PayPal as your payment method. If you do not have PayPal account, please contact us for bank account information and possibility of wire transfer.

Can I get my photos or video taken during the trip?

If you book from our online booking system, you have a right to get your photos/video taken by our team during the cycling trip for free. Some of the photos will be also uploaded into our photo gallery pages for archival purpose. You can also check for your video on our youtube channel. You can ask for higher resolution photos by emailing us and we will send them via email.

Is there any extra charges

The price listed on our website covers all the facilities and services including pick-up/return transfer, breakfast/lunch, entrance fees/tickets, sarong (when entering temple) and also tax/services. There is no extra or even hidden charge unless you take a private tour options.

What is your cancellation policy?

Followings are our cancellation policy:

It is your responsibility to provide us with complete details on where to pick you up! If we have to google information about your hotel, we might not find the right one. A lot of places have very similar sounding names. Some places even have incorrect address. We ask that you provide the name, full address, and contact telephone number for your accommodation so that we can verify the location.

In case your accommodation cannot be accessed by car or off the main road, we suggest you to pre arrange a pick up point for us -- you could wait somewhere near the main road (with sufficient information of the places/buildings nearby). If you can send us the pick up point via Google Map, that would be great.

We have the right to cancel your booking if we go to the wrong hotel or cannot locate your accommodation because we were provided insufficient information.
